I have windows XP

just installed the game from disc. Had problems with that but got around it. It would not install the scenery pack. Got it to work

But now it gives me this error message and I don't know how to solve it HELP

"Unable to start game service initialization failed (0x02957b48)

What do I do with this $53 paper weight???????

Have you already tried everything that is mentioned here?

When starting the game I get the error message: "Unable to start game. Service initialization failed (some number)".
