The Sims 3 seasons won't start

Hey, I'm having a Problem with starting "seasons".

I installed it and now it can't find the launcher. When I'm trying to connect it to launcher.exe (Basic sims 3) the launcher opens, but it tells me there's a Problem and that there's Information about it in the log-data. Yet I can't find that data and I can't even open the launcher over the Basic Sims 3 any more.

I really don't know what to do, I'd be happy for any help...
