The Sims 3 isnt loading properly it is saying to contact customer service that my id code does not match my CD, shoul i reinstall then install everything?! MAC

The sims 3 isnt loading, i recently bought town life stuff and i installed and now its saying my sism 3 cd rom doesnt match. i uninstalled town life cus it wasnt working. it said to contact customer service. should i uninstall everything and reinstall again?! please help me
