The Sims 3 download problem

I bought The Sims 3 Base Game so that I could download and play The Sims 3 Worlds Bundle and it's not working. I've followed and downloaded everything that I was supposed to and it's still not working. I bought the Base Game online on Feb. 5, 2014 and the Worlds Bundle from Wal Mart on the same date so I know that everything is official and under warranty. I do not wish to get a refund but I would like to know how I can fix these problems so I can play my games.
