Hello,
I installed Origin (and registered my games) for a new-bought expansion pack (The Sims 3 Seasons). Everything went well (Origin recognizes my registration code and previous games) until I wanted to push the play button (Launcher). An EA screen popped up, asking me for my registration code (again). When I fill it in, it keeps asking me. I googled my problem, and it seems a lot of people have the same problem. I've read the url's you've been giving to people with a similar problem, (like this one: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Invalid-and-Used-Serial-Codes-amp-Games-not-showing-up-in/td...but they don't apply to me.
I also tried to delete all of the Sims software, and install it again - but it won't work. I can play The Sims 3 (basic) however. Is there a simple solution for this?
I chatted with an EA-helpdesk, and they gave me a link to install the latest update (did that, but didn't solve the problem) and checked my code for me (everything seemed fine).

Did you put in the registration code for Seasons or that from the base game?
