The Sims 3 Pets

I have a new computer, I had installed Sims3 Pets on my old computer. I've been able to dl and install the original Game and the Generation Expansion I have, but for some reason it will not allow me to do the same with the Pets expansion. When I enter the product code it tells me it's already been used. I don't believe I have any other accounts with The sims or EA or Origin.
