The Sims 3 Pets keeps freezing and then crashing.

I have tried EVERYTHING.

1. Deleted all custom content and mods.

2. Reinstalling

3. Double checking my update and using the super/cumulative patch

4. New game/town

5. Putting the base game and all expansions into the DEP

6. Making sure my computer meets system requirements (it does, and then some)

7. Moving the Sims 3 folder to the desktop instead of the electronic arts folder (someone told me to do this, idk why)

8. Deleting all deletable cache files

So....what else can I do? Whenever I play (especially a created household, premade households seem to work for a much longer time) the game usually freezes after I attempt to enter a house. Sometimes I get into the house, and then the game freezes after 5-20 minutes.

I'm pretty upset because I paid $40 for this game, which as far as I am aware, cannot be returned because I bought it from Origin. Help?

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps below:

If you have Microsoft Windows XP:
1. Click the Start button on the Windows Taskbar.
2. Select Run.
3. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Save All Information.

If you have Windows Vista/Win 7 and do not have a Run selection:

1. Click On Start
2 Type dxdiag into Search Box
3. Click Save All Information.

Either use two posts to post all or only post the part up to [sound device].

Please let me know if you have a switchable graphic card. That usually does not show in the DxDiag.

My Game Crashes right When I try to enter create a pet on my Mac none of the animals work it freezes then crashes to my desktop

I contacted support for my display driver and they were able to help.  I played a few hours before the game crashed on me.  But I still don't know how to keep it from crashing at all.
