@Doretta123 The I3 is the weakest of the Intel I series and this shows when you play 3D graphical games (like the Sims games). While the GTX 1050 may play the game you may notice a performance hit as you increase the resolution. If you want to future proof I would recommend  an Intel I5 or an AMD 6300 cpu and at least a Nvidia GTX 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX 480 video card. This should give you acceptable performance playing 3D graphical games at 1080 resolution. This may even get acceptable VR performance. The idea for this year is be somewhat ready for emerging technology. HDR tvs and 4K tvs are really starting to be affordable but the problem is these take some power to run games with acceptable frame rates and your looking at more then a mid range gaming computer. The answer is not simple but the more you spend up front the longer it will take to have to upgrade. Take a look at this site - cyberppowerpc  I have dealt with the US counterpart and have found the prices reasonable. Like a gamer who builds their own computer, they use off the shelf components. At Cyberpowerpc youo can tweak the configuration to your liking again like a gamer would do as he (she) builds their system.

@Doretta123 I can help a little but your going to have to do some homework. Much has to do with personal preference. Probably the biggest choice is the cpu as this will determine what motherboard you need. Most gamers tend to use certain name brands. I guess what is the budget?
