Strange Music coming from my sim

Help! Some strange electronica music is coming from my sim, i don't have an mps player i have no stereos plus the tv is turned off! The music started one sim day after i went to a simfest, could that be the reason? HELP!!

this has been know to happen it's usually the magician music that "sticks" to the sim so try this first (save and quit your game )

Go to documents\ea\thesims3 and delete these files

CASPartCache.package
compositorCache.package
scriptCache.package
simCompositorCache.package
socialCache.package

or go to edit town move the sim out and back in

Sorry for a very late reply, but this has happened to me too a couple of times, sometimes magician's music and couple of times acrobat's music, and my solution has been this: If you have World Adventures expansion pack, travel abroad. Once there, the music should no longer be heard. Then just travel back home. I've done this and it has worked.

It might also work with University Life expansion, by sending your sim(s) to the university the music should stop.
