is there a way to play Sims3 without being online?

Also , again , why does the game take 45 min to load?

- You don't have to be online to play TS3, just launch the game from the game icon your computer.

- 45 minutes is a ridiculously long time to load. What computer do you have? Do you have lot of CC/Mods installed? Have you downloaded a lot of stuff from the Exchange?

My internet was out the other day and when I clicked on the game icon it asked me to login . Of course I couldn't and it wouldn't load.

The launcher asked you to log in or Origin? Either way, you don't have to log in to play. Were you getting any error messages?

My modem had died and figured I could still play so I clicked the launcher icon and the origin screen came up and wanted me to login, which of course I couldn't . And would not let me start the game

Let's try something: open Origin and in the log in window, write your account, password and make sure to check "Remember me". Then log in.

That way Origin will remember your account and in the future you should be able to log in even withouth an internet connection. You will be using Origin in "offline mode", and you will be able to play the sims 3

If you want to make sure it works, you can close Origin, disconnect internet, and try to log in now.
