Sims # 3

Hi Recently when I opened my Sims 3, I was prompted to install an update.  So, I did. Since I have loaded this update I have had no sound on my game. I don't understand why or what happened. I examined my computer "a windows 8 (hp)" and the lack of sound is not present anywhere else in my system. So, I know it must be related to this update, I installed.  Can you help me?

If this issue is due to the recent origin update today then you can try uninstalling the origin and then install it again.

Also if you get the same issue again then try re-installing your game. I hopoe this will work for you.
