Sims 3 wont let me register the game

I registerd the game once but then my computer updated to windows 8.1 and now I cant play any of my sims games because I need to register Sims 3 and it wont let me. Please help.

Please keep in mind that if you bought the game off Origin, it is AUTOMATICALLY registered FOR YOU! To get your accounts connected, simply use the same details as you use for Origin.

If you have bought the game second-hand - you will not be able to re-register it. Games can only be registered ONCE.
