I got the Ambitons and Island Paradise on steam at recent sale. I have had the game since 2015 no prior launch issues. I downloaded the dlc on steam and went to go play the launcher comes up fine no issues but you go to play it comes up with a window that says Unable to Start game Device 0 cannot run this title No supported graphics card detected. I have all my drivers and graphic card up to date. I tried reinstalling the whole sims game I had prior ( base game, seasons,pets supernatrual) Still gave the same issue, so I tried downloading onto the origin app still wont start. I have a windows 7 64 bit, antivirus avg free, and microsoft security essentials. About to just give up and get a refund.
