Sims 3 will not launch

Sims 3 will not launch no matter what expansion we put in. It says it is not compatible with game installed and needs to be updated when i check launcher it says game is up to date

What is your base game version right now ?

Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.

If you're not at 1.63, please update your game.
