Sims 3 starter pack

When I first starting playing the Sims 3 starter pack it worked perfectly fine I didn't have any problems with the disc itself, sometime late I decided to switch the disc for Sims 3 island paradise it said the disc was downloaded but the the game did not play. It continued to load into Sims 3 into the future because I had played that one before. I mad sure everything was updated because they said that was the reason why it didn't download. This continued on for some time so I decided to uninstall everything and try again now I am unable to play anything including the Sims 3 starter pack. Please I need help I don't know if I should return the games or not.

your games alway play from the newest game in your case into the future island paradise is older than into the future even if for example you buy the university game today it will still play from into the future all the other games will be combined with into the future
