Hi!
My TS3 game is having some sound issues. All the sounds on the game, whether it is the Maxis logo sounds or the loading screen music, or the Sims voices to the ambient sounds -- it all sounds metallic and distorted.
I contacted EA support which gave me a few quick fix-attempts, such as deleting the Cache files in the TS3 Document folder, restarting my computer, running in compatibility mode, etc. None of them worked.
The fixes I have tried on my own are updating my Realtek drivers, uninstalling and re-installing them (which by the way, was also suggested by my EA contact support adviser). None of these have worked either.
I am desperate for a fix, as playing the game without any sound makes the whole experience bland and unappealing for me.
