Hi, EA Kristi, I have an open ticket with Origin because I haven't been able to install or run Origin since the update on 9-13-2016. It's a moot point with the pets anyway since I am getting a new computer soon and I think that will solve all my issues going forward.
All my pets are black blobs as well.

Your specs are very borderline but try updating your graphics drivers.

I just got Sims pets yesterday and downloaded it today but all the pets are black as well. If there is any possible way to fix this that would be great.
Could anyone help me I got a new laptop for Christmas and all my pets are black 
I tried running my sims without any custom content and they were still black and then i played around with the graphics and nothing helped! Can someone please help me?
