Basically I've had the Sims 3 for about.... six months? I bought 2 expansion packs about 3 months after I got the base game. After a while messages started coming up when I tried opening the game (Game disc not found. Please insert Island Paradise). This happened whenever.... whatever disc I put in the computer. Even if I had Island Paradise in. It was working on and off. Now, about 4 months later, the Sims 3 menu won't even pop up. Whenever I click on the little icon in my hotbar (Base game, Island paradise, pets, university life) a message will come up saying Failed to create symlink with a bunch of random words and stuff. I am a huge simmer. I can't live without the sims. I don't know what to do, short of getting a new disc. Oh yeah, and the disc is scratched (Island Paradise that is).
