Sims 3 log in problem

I open my game and when I write my e-mail adress I cannot do the ''@'' sign. İt does not occur on the screen. I am using MacBook Pro and please help I cannot sign in and I cannot buy some stuff or play online.

This is a known issue for certain keyboard layouts.
