Sims 3 keeps crashing

I've never had a proble with my Sims 3 up until recently after downloading the Pets expansion pack. Here is the error message I keep recieving, it happens about 15 min into the game. Any ideas on what it could be? I havent had this problem before and when I first downloaded Pets had no problemes with the game.
