Sims 3 doesn't work

Sims 3 won't work!!! I recently re downloaded sims 3 onto my laptop and when I tried to play it I had a message pop up and say 'base game not installed properly' or 'error loading sims 3 check log'

has anyone got any ideas on what to do?

my sims 3 all time work, but i unistall and install him again but write me that limit reach

I can't uninstall it either so it's just on my laptop and I can't do anything, eurgh!!
