It overlaps my screens and rarely does it leave and start my game. It happens when I start up my game then it sits that that covering more than half of my screen.

if you have mods/cc move the folder to the desktop clear the cache files
try delete the cache files go to electronic arts/the sims 3/
•CasPartCache.package
•compositorCache.package
•scriptCache.package
•simCompositorCache.package
•socialCache.package.package
it's safe to delete these files as a new ones will regenerate
then see if it'll launch and play
if not the other thing to do is right click the game icon run as admin and the same for the origin run as admin restart the computer and see if it is all right

It has not worked for either option. Unless it is supposed to stay on the black screen to load it. I also tried repairing my game through Origin but to no avail.
