Sims 3 University Life registration code doesn't work.

I purchased the Sims 3 University Life from Origin. They sent me an e-mail with the serial number so I can register the game. When I went to register the game on the Sims 3 website it says my code isn't valid. I want to register my game so how can I if the code doesn't work?

When you purchase The Sims 3 or any of its Expansions or Stuff Packs through Origin, you no longer need to manually register your product through The Sims 3’s website. Just make sure that your Origin account details match the details of your Sims account, and Origin will register your products for you.

If you don't already have a Sims 3 or Origin account, you can make one by going to http://www.thesims3.com 

 

Update: If you already have an Origin account and bought The Sims 3 or any of its Expansions or Stuff Packs through Origin, you do not need to create an account on the Sims 3 website. Just log in with your Origin account and you should be able to see your products on your "My Page" website.

I've been having the same problem. I tried to redeem the code on Origin and it says the code is already used and i don't understand because i don't have any other accounts with the game on it. So frustrating! I don't know if it will still stay that after I buy the game.

if the game was bought 2nd hand/used the code/s will be tied to the original persons account and are non transferable nor can they be reregistered to another account for ,newly bought games either from origin or from a shop/store even newly bought games can run into the used/invalid code issue and you may need to contact CS
