Sims 3 Seasons help

whenever i try to install the Seasons expansion pack, it says that my Sims 3 game version is not updatable and that the Sims 3 Seasons is incompatible. I've already updated the game, but it still won't let it install. Help?

You can always manually update to the latest version of the game by using the "super patch":
