Sims 3 Promo Code Error

Hi! I'm a little stressed out and I really need some answers. My old computer broke so I had to get on a new one and download my games, except My account doesn't have my purchased games and I have the Cd's. I tried to enter the promo code but It said its already been used, but i already know that because I used it on my old computer. So is there any chance that I will be able to get my game back or do I have to buy a whole new one?

That sounds to me like you already have registered the game to a different account. Is this possible? Did you perhaps register the game on the Sims 3 website? If yes, please log into Origin with the same email and password that you use on the website.
