Sims 3 NaN error

Hi. On my daughter's Android tablet, we have purchased and downloaded the Sims 3, but are unable to play it. It tells us it needs to download mroe data, but then hangs at the download screen, telling us that the percentage left is "NaN".

Can you please help?

Not an Android user but I found this about the NaN error:

I tried that solution, but it hasn't worked. the file they suggest you download is a different name to the one on my Android, and then the textrues are all missing when it finally does work. I guess I will have to request a refund for a faulty product...
