Sims 3 Launcher Not Working

Hi , 

Each time i press my Sims 3 student life game the launcher opens.

And before i can see the launcher complete i get launcher stoped working and it searches for fix but it don't find one.

Now i can't open the launcher annymore to play is there a solution?

I'm on the latetest patch also GameVersion = 1.50.56.021002 

Please help me to play and open launcher again

The reset doesn't do annything keeps getting error when i start the game true direct exe without launcher game works flawlesse.

So the game works but the launcher doesn't, do you I understand that right ? The launcher crashes on startup ?

What error do you get when you do a factory reset ? The same one ?

What's your oprating system ?

Thats right games works launcher not.
Launcher starts indeed and before it fully loads you get .
Sims3launcher.exe hase stopt working( its in dutch because im from belgium)
Error keeps same after reset.
Ihave a win7 64 bit

Try if doing DEP for the launcher does anything for you: http://www.simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Data_Execution_Prevention

You will need to add the following file: Sims3LauncherW.exe instead of ts3w.exe

Also try starting the launcher with admin right and compatibility mode.

Dep mode is not active for sims 3 so launcher keeps getting crash.

I try'd to use Crash log analayser but he don't find a crash.

Also tryed all compatibelmodes with admin rights and not help either.

If i reinstall may that help or will i get same error ?

please help me out

The Crash Log Analyzer is for game crashes only not for launcher crashes.

Since the game itself works, I don't think reinstalling will help.

Let me ask some people at thesims3.com website. Maybe someone there has an idea. I'll get back to you.

just reinstalled all the games and indeed probleme not solved launcher keeps crashing

Got a few suggestions back

• Reinstall base game (which you since did and didn't help)
• Make sure Origin is updated
• Make sure IE9 is installed
• Clear cookies and caches on IE9
• Make sure you have the interne connection is running and nothing is blocking
• Turn off internet to see if it runs then.
