Sims 3 Glitching

Ok, when I had just the games that came into the Sims 3 Starter Pack and Sims 3 Pets, everything was fine. My boyfriend bought me a copy of Dragon Valley from our local Walmart and I put it in. Everything went fine until I went and moved a new family to a premade house in the world of Dragon Valley. Every one of my characters looked ok except for one of my horses, which the family was made up of a male and female young adult elf like character and a horse per person. My female horse was glitching. Her ears was elongated and her tail was crooked. It looked like an animator screwed something up. She did not look like that in the sim creator. Please help. I have never faced this kind of glitch before.
