I got a new computer and now im trying to reinstall the sims 3 by registering it on the site. The site says the code is invalid, but i used the code when i originally installed the game and it was just fine.

Hi there @NickoBlack42

If you have bought the game second-hand, you will not be able to register it because games cannot be registered twice. If you are indeed trying to register a second-hand copy, I would advise returning to the original owner and asking for a refund. You can also buy a code from EA Customer Support (linked below).

If you bought the game from Origin, it will be automatically registered for you and it will appear in your My Games upon purchase. If it does not appear and you are certain you are using the correct account, please contact customer support (linked below).

If you login to the Sims 3 website ( www.thesims3.com ) using the same email and password that you use for your Origin account, your game will also be automatically registered there. If it does not appear as registered - try registering it here: https://www.thesims3.com/registeragame.html If it states you have an invalid serial code, you will need to contact customer support (linked below).

If you are having issues redeeming codes for worlds, please understand that you cannot redeem worlds through Origin. They need to be redeemed on the Sims 3 website: https://store.thesims3.com/myAccount.html Once redeemed, they will appear in your purchase history: https://store.thesims3.com/purchaseHistory.html If the code states its invalid, please check your purchase history regardless. Again, codes cannot be used twice. If after all that it still claims to be invalid, please contact customer support (linked below).
