SIMS 3 CONSISTENTLY SEND HELP :)

went to play my sims game like usual (it always works) and an origin popup window told me my game was not activated, when i tried to activate using the serial code it asked for it told me the code had been used already. 

so i unistalled my sims 3 base game after trying a new expansion pack and everything, and now when i click install the same window pops up telling me the code has been used

 

is this an origin account issue or is my sims totally busted?
