Reinstalling Sims 3 [ Edited ]

I was having problems with my Sims 3 game crashing on my PC, so I uninstalled it (and Origin) in hopes that reinstalling it would fix the problem. However, now I am not able to reinstall the program because it says that my product code has already been used.

Is there a way I can fix this?

I had the same problem, but I forgot to delete an expansion and some extras. They use your code too, so be sure to delete them as well. If you can't find anything, and it still doesn't work, you can ask a computer guy (or in my case: my dad) for help, because they can see more files. Good luck! x

i am  having same problem only i reformated my comptur and i still cant get it to work because it says code used. does it matter that i am using it on another comp
