Registering game

I am un able to register my Sims 3 game, my brother used the code on his account, since I dont have the sims 3 registered on my account the Sims 3 exchange will not let me download anything, can any one help me so i can down load things from the exchange?

You can't register your game but you should be able to download stuff from the Exchange through your brothers account (use save as) and then move the file to your own computer and install from there. This does not work for the Store, only the Exchange.

You could also buy a stuff pack, register that and then use the exchange and Store.
