REFUND sims 3

i would like to refund my sims 3 game (i purchased it 3/16/17) but it's not eligible for one. I would like to know why and if i could receive one. 

i also purchased the sims 3 university life and would like refund for that one as well.

PLEASE HELP! Within the first 24 hours i tried to find different methods of refunding it but i never found anything w/ the "Great Game policy" or whatever it is called. Today i was able to find it but i guess it's not refundable after the first 24 hours which is not fair. I contacted EA and have been waiting on an advisor for 10 minutes. HELPPPPP I AM SHOOK. $40 gone to waste
