Product Code Already Used

I have tried downloading my sims 3 game on origin and it says my product code has already been used which I have used it before to download my game but now the disc is no longer working. I just need to know how to play it online with my code. How do I do that if it keeps saying its already been used? I have read many other problems like this online, but none of the answers have helped.

Are you using the same account you registered it with originally?
