Problem with The Sims 3 Download!

I have recently bought The Sims 3 Island Paradise, after a few minutes while it's "Preparing to Download" a pop up comes and says "We have encountered a problem, please try again in a few minutes" and so I have waited a few minutes (or more than a few) and the same pop up comes back. Please help as soon as possible!

If you are having issues downloading from Origin, there are a few things you can try.

Make sure Origin is updated to the latest Beta Version:

• Launch Origin and login with your account
• Click on the word Origin in the top left hand corner, and select Applications Settings
• From the general tab, scroll down to “Update to the Beta Version if Available” and tick the box
• Restart Origin by logging out and logging back in

Doing a clean reboot and running Origin as administrator:

• Follow these steps on how to do a reboot: http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
• Right-click on the Origin icon on your desktop and choose run as administrator.
• Then attempt to download again

Make sure that no programmes are conflicting with Origin:

As a last resort, uninstall Origin and redownload it from here: http://origin.com/download

Also try doing enabling safe mode: 

• Open Origin and go to Applications and Setttings
• Go to Advanced and tick Safe Mode Downloading
• Restart your computer
• Try again
