Problem with Sims games purchased from Amazon

I purchased Sims 3, High end loft stuff, and Sims 3 Late Night. Finally got everything downloaded, and played the game a couple of times. But now after start up, it freezes, then stops then send a error message.  Help or please refund my money!

• Does the launcher start?
• Are you getting any error messages?
• How far do you get, try to describe what happens in as much details as possible (without getting too lenghty)
• Do all installed games show up in the Origin client?

• Which Security Software are you using (Firewall, Antivirus)?
• Do you have the disc or download version or a mix?
• Do you have any files with xctp in your documents\electronicarts\thesims3\ folder ? (those are crash logs)?
