Problem Installing Sims 3

I have just bought Sims 3 but cannot install it.  The following message keeps appearing:

Feature transfer error

File: e:\GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuild1.package

Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

I am left with the option of either cancel or retry.

Everytime I click retry the same message will just appear again before instalation is complete.

How do I solve this error?
