Please help me figure this out

OKay so i downloaded the sims 3 everything was perfect, then i downloaded the sims 3 supernatural and it says unable to connect to origin. I signed in to thesims3.com abd origin.com. but im unable to stay signed on while im playing the game so i can share things and stuff. What am i suppose to do?
