PRODUCT CODE/SERIAL NUMBER NOT WORKING FOR SIMS 3

My partner recieved Sims 3 for her birthday, she installed it and layed it.   Months later she goes on and has to re register her product code.   We both have tried and failed as once our code has been enterned into origin. it tells us that the code has already been used.....We are from the uk...My question is how do we either obtain a new code for free or whether our original code can be used.

you might need to contact CS if you still have issues with invaldi code if the faq does not help you here's how to contact CS
