Origin and Serial code problems; Please Help!!! [ Edited ]

-I got the sims 3 starter pack and university life expansion pack for x-mas (I know it was a while ago) and I've tried to register my game to the sims 3 website but everytime I enter the serial code it says that it is invalid, I asked my dad if it was a used game or not and he said it wasn't....

Is there a solution?

-Also when I first got the game I downloaded it to my windows 8 PC, i created an origin account and everything was fine for a while, one day i went to the sims 3 website and created an account using my origin account and normally your games should atomatically register on the website, mine didn't; another day I went onto origin to play my games and it said I didn't own any games. I reinstalled them on my dad's computer (Mac) but it would be nice to play them on my computer again...

Did you buy digital?

if you did buy digital in Origin, you dont need to register it. it is already registered to your account.

Using the same account as in origin, log in thesims3.com and you can get your rewards and the game icon on your my page..
