Orgin will not let me redeem my code for Dragon Valley

I've tried numerous times to download this expansion pack on my daughter's computer.  When Orgin doesn't freeze up and lets me get to the page to enter my code, I type it in and accept.  The redeem box doesn't let me redeem the code.  I've gone thru the computer and there's nothing stopping/blocking Orgin and the downloads.  I've even tried to redownload Orgin and nothing has worked.  I've tried to fix this for the last two weeks.

dragon valley is sims 3 DLC content  the code is redeemed on the sims 3 account not origin

once the world is downloaded and installed it will be in the main menu +new game to select the world to play in you will still play from whatever game you normally play from there will be no shortcut icon or launcher icon for the wold and it will not be in your origin my games tab

Follow these steps to redeem your code

1. Go to thesims3.com and log in with your account
2. Go to your account page: https://store.thesims3.com/myAccount.html (site will ask for your password again)
3. Click on Redeem a Code
4. Enter the 16-letter code, accept the Policies and click on Redeem
5. Go to your purchase history to download the world (make sure your game is updated to the newest version)

OR

1. Go to thesims3.com and log in with your account
2. Go to the general redeem a code page: http://www.thesims3.com/incentive/generalredeem.html
3. Enter the 16-letter code (this is not for 20-letter codes) and click on Submit
4. Go to your purchase history to download the world (make sure your game is updated to the newest version)
