New game loading screen will not load

I just installed Supernatural from the Origin website and updated my game to  the newest patch (1.55). However, when I try to start a new game on Moonlight Falls, the loading screen gets to about 97-99% and will not load anymore. The cursor is still turning and the little game tips are still cycling through but my game Will. Not. Load. I waited for about 15 minutes and nothing... I uninstalled much of my custom content, though not all of it. Could that still be conflicting it?

Please help, this is very frustrating!

If you have mods, that's most probably the issue.
