New Sims 3 expansion not downloading?

I just bought Dragon Valley for Sims 3 about 2 hours ago and have been trying to download it to my computer since. 

I got it on Origin and followed all the directions I was told but when I hit download, it just popped origin back up but did nothing. 
This has happened both with Dragon Valley and Celtic Lands (that came with Dragon Valley). 
My game hasn't even come up in Origin. 

What's going on and what can I do to fix it?

worlds do not show up in orign my games tabs as they are a store item the code needs to be redemmed on your the sims 3 account then downloaded and installed from there Celtic lands is a decor set that also needs to be redeemed on your the sims 3 account both are downloaded from your the sims 3 account my store account-purchase history once the code is redeemed

to play with dragon valley once downlaoded and installed it'll be in the main menu +new game to select the world to play in you will still play from whatever game you normally play from

IF you redemmed the world code in your the sims 3 account but origin opens up when you try to download the world see crins post here the second last one

if you redeemed the code in origin you may get and invalid/code used message if that happens contact CS
