My sims 3 game keeps crashing

I can play for about 10 minutes before it crashes and windows says 'sims 3 has stopped working' 

I have windows 8, ambitions, seasons, island paradise, pets, university and town stuff. I have loads of memory left, I dont undrestand why it keeps crashing!! Its all updates as well. Please someone help!!

There are many reasons for this error and you need to eliminate them one at a time. Could be the computer is overheating. Could be an outdated device driver. Does your computer meet the minimum requirements? You have the most demanding packs and your video hardware may not be capable of running these packs.

I have the same problem, however I own 10 (Expansion), 9 (Stuff) packs, and 5 (worlds) yet I have tons of memory left and I have windows 7. My sims game doesn't`t let me create a house hold, go into wardrobe very long, and crashes on me if I do.
