My Sims 3 Crashes In CAS [ Edited ]

Hi , I'm having trouble with CAS recently. 

My computer meets the specs , and I have over 100GB of storage ready to use.  I got rid of ALL of my CC except pose player and 2 pose packs that I used to use and work fine with my game.

I would start by updating your graphics drivers, which can be found here.

You have integrated graphics, which does not meet the minimum requirements of 128MB of dedicated video memory. If the driver update does not work, then I would say your underpowered Intel integrated graphics are causing your issues.

Hello,

Unfortunately you cannot upgrade a laptop's graphics card. The only thing that would definitely prevent crashing is to buy a new laptop that exceeds the minimum requirements; however, I can fully understand this is not a convenient solution.

For many people this has happened, where The Sims 3 suddenly stops working.

What I can recommend really depends on what kind of budget you have in mind. If you want the best experience in the game (and in The Sims 4), I would say you'd need to spend a minimum of $600 - here is an example.

It would seem The Sims series is edging closer towards being a more demanding game, and hence seems to favour laptops and computers that are better designed with gaming in mind.
