I installed the base game on my new (Windows 7) system yesterday and it was running fine. I was getting the 'OriginLegacyCLI has stopped working' error, but when I closed it the game launcher would open and I could launch the game. I couldn't log in at the game launcher and couldn't install download content, but I could play.
After playing a few sim weeks with the game running great, I decided to add an expansion pack. The expansion pack wouldn't install because my base game wasn't up to date, but with the launcher not letting me login, I couldn't patch there. I found the manual patch and, voila! I could log in to the game launcher and was able to install Ambitions.
I tried installing download content, still no go. (Presumably related to the 'Unable to connect to the EA Download Manager' error that pops up with the launcher?)
Then I tried running the game and got the TS3EP02.exe has stopped working error, game won't load.
Did some googling, came up with nothing, decided to try installing another expansion. Installed Generations. Nothing has changed except it's now TS3EP04.exe that has stopped working, game still won't load.
I have Pets, Seasons, Showtime, Supernatural and University I could try, but I don't want to risk compounding the problem.
My current version is 1.57.62.023017
Anyone else run into these issues? Any fix ideas?

I have done so twice along the way (sorry, should have mentioned that!), but will try that again.

sometimes origin needs admin rights can try that too
another thing to try is this If that doesn’t help close the origin client and go directly to you origin folder C:\Program Files\Origin Games. Run the origin.exe in this folder with a rightclick -> run as administrator restart the computer or C:\Program Files\(x86)Origin
or updateing to the beta version
Launch Origin and log in with your account
- Click Origin in the top left (main menu)
- Select Application Settings
- From General tab, scroll down to "Update to the beta version if available" and tick the checkbox
- Restart Origin

Uninstalled Origin. Deleted the install file. Restarted my computer. Re-downloaded, re-installed. Still getting the same errors.

No change when Running as Admin. Upgrading to Beta When Available didn't promptt an update on restarting on Origin, still same errors.

I'm not getting the 0.0.0.0 error, but will try clearing my cache.
I uninstalled Generations and Ambitions and now the base game is working fine again (still getting OriginLegacyCLI and EA Download Manager errors, but not the 'blahblah.exe stopped working' one).
