Mods not working since 1.63 update

Hi after I updated to 1.63 my mods no longer work. I've tried re-installing all the games, but as soon as I update to 1.63 the mods just stop working. What should I do to make them work?

move the mods to the desktop clear the cache files golden rule to remeber before any game patch move the mods upddate the game then check with  where you got the mods from to see that they are updated to the same patch level as you (mods are at your own risk nor are they supported by ea )

delete the cach files go to electronic arts/the sims 3/

  •CasPartCache.package

•compositorCache.package

•scriptCache.package

•simCompositorCache.package

•socialCache.package.package

it's safe to delete these files as a new ones will regenerate
