Mods and Custom Content

Hi! I have a major problem! my mods wont work in my game as in the stop my game from actually running. I need to download cc but it keeps saying 'failed'. also my computer stops the game after about 15 or 20 mins game-play. help will be most appreciated! - Thank you

Try resttetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps/td-p/714/

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.
