Missing items in Sims 3 pets

When did you notice ? I can't think of a reason why the wouldn't be there.
DId you change anything on your system when you noticed them missing ? Patch ? Install mods or custom content ?

Do you have the pets category in buy mode itself or is that also gone ? Are you using custom content or mods ?

Weird. I've not seen anyone with similar issues. I haven't been playing my own game in a while so don't know if a patch could be the culprit of this.
I'll check around if someone has the same problem. Meanwhile, maybe someone else can help or you could consider to reinstall just pets.

Try this: Delete your thumbnail files (see attached), sometimes this will force the catalog to rescan and find missing stuff.
Also, make sure you haven't added any new CC that overrides/replaces game content. You would be surprised how many CC creators make their things as default replacements w/o warning you!
One more thing...if you are upgraded to 1.69 make 100% sure you have Pets ticked in the launcher!
