[Mac] Launching the game [ Edited ]

hello, i need help

i downloaded the original sims 3 plus 2 expansion packs,and none of them will open. 

when i try opening the game it says "unknown error" 

i tried restarting my mac but its still the same. 

what should i do???

Hi 

We will need some more information. When you downloaded and installed them, did everything go OK? If you click on the base game icon, do you see other icons appear in the dock? Does the game Launcher window open?
